As I did in October, 2016 and in March, 2019, I was offering another acrylic painting class on behalf of the Monroeville Arts Council Outreach Program on October 17, 2020, but it was canceled due to the COVID Pandemic.   If this class is rescheduled it will be announced here and on bob’s art blog.

LANDSCAPE PAINTING WITH OILS OR ACRYLICS  March 30, April 6, April 13, 2019 at the Greensburg Art Center. This class involved 9 hours of instruction over 3 sessions. Class turnout was good and we all had a good time. I might consider doing something similar in the future. Click on the poster at right for more details. Click here for all photos and additional source materials for this class.

The Acrylic Landscape Workshop I taught on March 23, 2019 at the Monroeville Library was a complete success. About two dozen people showed up and had a great time painting a summer landscape.  My thanks to the Monroeville Arts Council and to Nancy Dalverney who helped make this event possible.

I had two new paintings on exhibit at the East Suburban Artists League’s art show at the Latrobe Art Center, April 3-30, 2019.  I have entered (left) April Showers, 16 x 20, oil on canvas, and (right), Spring in the Mountains, 14 x 18, oil on canvas. My thanks to the LAC for using my painting to illustrate their postcard.

In March of 2018 I had a Murrysville doctor’s office ask me to decorate their waiting room with two of my photographs.  They were both scenes of a foot bridge in Duff Park, which was actually located just across the street from this office.
